Nutrition: Get Well. Stay Well.
Have you been experiencing health issues that don’t go away, no matter what pill you take? Is all of your lab work normal, but you are still experiencing symptoms? Do you prefer a natural healing program? Are you tired of treating only symptoms and not the root cause of your health problems?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we would like to help. In our office, we believe that symptoms such as fatigue, pain, and digestive issues (to name a few) are indicators of an imbalance or deficiency in the body. Our approach is simple. We perform a thorough consultation, a nutritional exam using traditional Chinese medicine and reflexology, review recent lab work, and order new lab testing such as a food sensitivity test or hormone panel. After collecting and analyzing all of the data, we implement a nutritional protocol to rebuild and support the affected organ/system. We will discuss your nutrition plan and advise you of any lifestyle changes that may be needed.
Dr. VanDeVelde has spent hundreds of hours learning how to use these supplements and herbs to therapeutically treat a variety of conditions. This list includes but is not limited to:

The Healing Power of Lasers: the Lumix Laser Difference
The Lumix laser stimulates cell regeneration and reduces inflammation to multiple tissues in the body. This provides fast pain relief and tissue repair to even chronic and “unresponsive” conditions.
What Is Laser Therapy?
Laser therapy is the use of specific combination wavelengths of light to create exceptional therapeutic effects. These wavelengths of light cause an immediate anti-inflammatory response and a rapid analgesic effect. The low-level light also accelerates the healing response by increasing the blood supply and promotes the development and regeneration of new, healthy cells and tissue. Laser therapy is a safe, noninvasive treatment for muscles, nerves, bones, skin, tendons, and ligaments and is an excellent alternative to opioids.
What Has Research Shown?
According to published medical reports, many acute and chronic conditions may be improved or eliminated with laser therapy including back/neck pain, knee pain, neuropathy, bursitis, arthritis, shoulder pain, sprains/strains, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, swelling, inflammation, tendonitis, and more.
Are There Risks or Side Effects?
Laser therapy has been successfully used around the world for over 50 years with no reported long-term or irreversible side effects. The FDA first cleared lasers for use in the United States in 2002. Since then, laser therapy continues to grow not only because of the exceptional results, but also because it is a painless, non-invasive, and non-addictive treatment.
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
This answer obviously varies from patient to patient, but our typical treatment plan begins with seeing our patient twice a week for two weeks. After this, we expect a considerable amount of improvement. From there will determine if any further treatments are needed. Generally, the more chronic or severe the condition, the longer it takes to respond.
What to Expect During a Laser Therapy Treatment
For most patients, there is minimal sensation felt during the treatment. The patient will feel the laser head contacting their skin and likely a soothing warmth over the area. Most importantly, there will be a feeling of relief within the first few minutes of treatment.
